Dear Doné & Paul,


From the moment I arrived in Mossel Bay after the 5-hour drive from Cape Town, I knew this was going to be something special. And wow—what a day. A celebration full of laughter, surprise, and the kind of joy that’s impossible to fake.


You both brought such thought and playfulness to your wedding, with surprise after surprise tucked into the day like little love notes. Doné, your boudoir shoot reveal had Paul completely floored. And let’s not forget that moment in your speech—gifting him a fire extinguisher in reference to that fire incident? Brilliant. And Paul, you answered in true Paul-style: by delivering the rings on a fishing rod. Honestly, I couldn’t have made this up if I tried.


You two are made of gold. And you’re surrounded by people who see that. Watching Doné’s bridesmaids see her for the first time, seeing her dad’s emotional first look, and witnessing Paul’s reaction as she walked down the aisle—all of it was deeply moving. You wore your hearts on your sleeves, and I was so honoured to witness it.


The setting at Kleingeluk Venue was perfect. Doné, your modern dress (with pockets! YES!) and Paul’s navy three-piece suit were the perfect pairing for a day that was all at once romantic, fun, and full of class. And the vibe? Pure celebration. No stress could touch it—not even yours, Doné (I saw you, but you nailed it).


Doné & Paul, I’ve been looking forward to this wedding for so long—and it was so worth the wait. Thank you for letting me be part of your celebration. I loved every second.
