The best laid plans sometimes go awry, but compromise and flexibility are two skills that will ensure that no matter what life throws at you, you'll get through it. You guys have certainly got those skills! From the moment we met and you told me about how your original wedding plans had fallen through, I really understood what you'd gone through, having been a Covid bride.


BUT YOU DID IT!


Liezl, the gorgeous bride with a love for the beach and a heart of a lion, you were amazing! I don't think you stopped smiling the whole day. Your face when you walked yourself into the chapel - damn girl, you're a force to be reckoned with. And wanting to trash your dress immediately after your wedding? Uh, yes. Yes.


JJ, you strike me as such a teddy bear. You laughed, you cried, you dropped the ring (it's good luck, I promise!). I felt I could really be myself around you and it made shooting with you such a pleasure!


You two truly have something special, and you can tell in the photos that the love here is real and strong. I wish you two (about to be 3) a beautiful life together back in the Northern Cape.
