Dear Sheneille & Jean
There’s something wildly romantic about an elopement—no fuss, no big crowd, just love, a few of your favourite people, and the ocean whispering in the background. Your day on that quiet spot near Scarborough Beach was all of that and more.
Sheneille, your sunshine-yellow dress was breathtaking. Forget traditions—your choice to wear something bold, joyful, and completely you made the day feel extra special. And Jean, during every moment (yes, even that little jog back to the car to grab the vows—iconic), your love and adoration for her was clear in every glance.
The intimacy of your ceremony, with only your closest family there, felt sacred. Just the sound of the waves, the soft wind, and promises exchanged under the open sky. Honestly, I wish more weddings felt like that.
And of course, Achilles—the real MVP (Most Vocal Pup). I know my camera freaked you out a bit, bud, but no hard feelings! You're still one of the cutest four-legged guests I’ve had the pleasure of meeting.
After the ceremony, we made magic on the beach—golden light, salty air, and two people madly in love. And just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, we headed off to Kalk Bay for some moody night shots and wrapped the evening with your romantic dinner at Olympia Café. What a way to end such a meaningful day.
Sheneille & Jean, thank you for letting me tag along on your love story. You two are such a sweet, down-to-earth couple, and being part of your day was a genuine joy. The beauty of the setting only matched the beauty of your connection—and I’m so honoured to have been there to capture it.
Wishing you endless beach walks, late-night café dinners, and lots of puppy cuddles along the way.
With all my love,
Gemma Rainn
