Dear Elmari

There’s something really beautiful about a woman who decides to spoil herself—and invites her closest friends to soak up every second with her. From the moment I arrived at Quay 4, it was clear your birthday wasn’t just a celebration, it was a thank you to the women who’ve walked beside you. There were laughs over cocktails, hugs over shared snacks, and this quiet joy that lingered in the air before the real adventure began.
And what an adventure.
Watching you and your girls pile onto Enigma, ready for the Waterfront Charters cruise like a floating tribe of sunshine and wind-whipped hair, was something special. You made space for fun. For freedom. For getting drenched and not caring. That captain? A menace in the best way. The laughter that erupted every time someone caught a splash was pure joy to capture.
You are generous, magnetic, and wonderfully full of life. Thank you for letting me witness it all through my lens. I hope when you look back at these photos, you feel exactly what you gave to everyone else that day: celebration, connection, and light.
Happy birthday, again.
With warmth and sea spray,
Gemma Rainn
