Dear Emily & Christo

From the moment I met you both, it was clear that your relationship was built on something strong, steady, and unshakable — your faith. Watching you step into marriage surrounded by family, friends, and God’s presence was such a privilege.
Your wedding day had its own little drama — the kind only weather can provide. Rain fell at the most inconvenient times (I’m sure we’ll laugh about that forever), but as if on cue, the sun broke through just when we needed it most. That golden light wrapping around you during your couple shoot? Absolutely worth every raindrop.
Emily, you looked breathtaking in your dress — and yes, I still think pockets should be mandatory in every wedding gown. Christo, you were so sharp in your three-piece suit, but what stood out more than anything was the way you looked at Emily. And then, when those tears came (from the guy who apparently never cries!) — well, that moment will stay with me. Emily, I caught you teary-eyed before the ceremony too, and it was just the sweetest reflection of the love and anticipation between you both.
The details of your day spoke volumes of your heritage and your hearts. Emily, those little Dutch touches were so thoughtful, weaving family history into your new beginning. And the family atmosphere? It was pure warmth. Every hug, every smile, every prayer was overflowing with love.
One of my favorite parts of the day was when your sister stood up instead of giving a speech and sang a song she had written just for you. It was raw, beautiful, and so deeply personal — the perfect reflection of the closeness you share as a family.
Looking back, your wedding wasn’t just a celebration; it was a testimony. Joyful, love-filled, rooted in faith and family. I feel so lucky to have been there to capture it all.
With so much love
